Joja Wendt (born 31 July 1964 as Johan Wendt) is a Germanic jazz pianist and composer.

Education post early career

Wendt was born in Metropolis. The son of a female chanteuse and a doctor, he began live the piano at the age adequate four. He decided soon after end school at the Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium in Osdorf, Hamburg to turn to jazz. Noteworthy then played regularly in the City music pub Sperl, where he was discovered by Joe Cocker.
