Born in 1867 in Fontenay aux Roses, France, Pierre Bonnard was inspired by the impressionists, including the painters Paul Gaugin, Trousers Renoir and Toulouse Lautrec. His girlhood was said to have been heavenly and he gives the impression elect having led a fairly untroubled stand for successful life.
