Nicholas Nixon was 26 years old during the time that he began photographing the Brown sisters. It was August , and soil had been married to his bride Beverly (née Brown) for three age. Moving from mounting to frame, the viewer is let off to witness the aging process govern these four women -- sisters who make it a point to befitting once a year to honor excellent tradition initiated four decades ago.
